CANcellation policy, refunds and pass transfers
Organising a festival is hard work involving much time and effort, starting many months before the festival actually takes place. In addition, there are many expenses to cover in advance (teachers' fees and transportation, venue rent, insurance, equipment, etc.). Therefore, we need to be able to plan ahead with a certain degree of reliability. Consequently, the following cancellation policy applies:
All sales are final. We don’t offer a refund if you are not able to attend the event.
However, in case you can’t attend the event, you can try to transfer your pass to another suitable dancer in the same role (lead/follow/switch) and/or level. If you wish to do so, you can request the pass transfer by sending us an email to hello@bottomsupfestival.com stating the full name and email address of the person replacing you. Any transfer request is subject to approval by the organising team. If you need help finding a replacement, do not hesitate to contact us.
The festival shall be deemed to commence at 6 p.m. on 11th of September of 2026.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter specific programme items for reasonable causes (e.g. illness of artists, change of locations). Any such alterations shall not entitle participants to a full or partial refund of the festival fee.
If you are in doubt as to whether you will be able to attend the festival, we would recommend that you purchase a ticket insurance!
Cancellation of the festival by the organisers
In the event of cancellation of the festival due to force majeure or other reasons beyond the control of the organisers, participants will be reimbursed at least 50 % of the festival fee. The actual reimbursement will be calculated taking into account the costs incurred by the organisers (including labour costs).
In the event of a refund, Bottoms Up! will only reimburse the above-mentioned part of the festival fee. Any additional costs incurred by the participant (e.g. travel and accommodation costs) will not be reimbursed by Bottoms Up! and shall be borne entirely by the participant.
Code of Conduct
With your registration for the festival, you agree to comply with all rules outlined in our Code of Conduct.
Pictures, audio and video recordings
By participating, working or volunteering for the festival, you grant Bottoms Up! permission to use pictures and/or videos of you taken during the event by the organisers or by a person commissioned by the organisers in any publication for the purpose of documenting or advertising the festival (social media, radio, television, print, etc.). We will not send this media to any third parties. If you would like a specific image or video of you to be deleted, please send an email to hello@bottomsupfestival.com. The published content will then be removed.
