Katrin
Katrin has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She began by doing pliés in ballet classes, but at the age of 15 she swapped her ballet shoes for Platform Boots and went to raves in Bingen and Berlin. After trying some more dance styles she discovered Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz in 2013 and founded Swing Times together with Jesús in 2019!
Jesús
Jesús was born in Spain, but rather than Flamenco he fell in love with swing music and swing dance. He's been teaching in Cologne since 2015 und in 2019 he founded Swing Times with Katrin. What he always wanted but never dared to try: organizing a swing festival. Bottoms Up! is a dream come true!
Frauke
Frauke has been dancing her whole life - starting with children's dance classes and then modern jazz for many years after that. In 2014, as she was about to sign up for a salsa dance class in Berlin, she decided that Lindy Hop sounded much more fun and promptly signed up for that instead. She has been keeping up the bouncing ever since. As a trained event manager, she is primarily responsible in the Bottoms Up! team for all the behind-the-scenes calculations and logisctics.
